Twentieth Century Fox vs. Warner Bros fight for right over the Watchman

Twentieth Century Fox vs. Warner Bros. in court. The most anticipated movie adaption of comic book the Watchmen may not be released on its scheduled release March 2009, case is set to go to trial on January 20th. All of this can be avoided if the two rivals reach a settlement. Fox sued Warner last February, alleging the studio failed to acquire all the rights from producer Lawrence Gordon in 1994. Warner Bros. initiated work on the would-be blockbuster in 2005 and claims it had purchased all the rights.
