USA TODAY writer David Colton has a really good story about the history of the man of steal. Miltzer the author of book of lies dissects the story of Lithuanian Jewish immigrant Mitchell Siegel who in Cleveland was shopping in a second hand store suddenly died of a heart attack due to the commotion involving a robbery. Mitchell Siegel son Jerry Siegel (writer) & Joe Shuster (artist) later came together to create "Superman". One year after Mitchell Siegel's death 1933, came up with "The Superman". He follows Brad Meltzer author of the book of lies examinations of coinciding coincidences between Siegel & the Man of Steal, such as a letter to local Cleveland paper singed A.L. Luther demanding justice & how Siegel never once out of many interviews mentioned the death of his father was his inspiration for the superman character, which now is under question. The article also goes on about how superman was sold to dc comic for a astronomical amount of 130$ which DC Comics acquired rights to the character "forever." Later after a movie deal, DC Comics agreed to pay the two men $20,000 a year for life & agreed to add "Superman created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster" on all printed and filmed material in the future.
