Wi-Fi sneakers

by designer Stefan Dukaczewski. Based on the Nike Dunk platform, can detect wireless signals within an area of 50 meters. The outside flap has three LED’s that connect to an actuak Wi-Fi detecting unit. Pressure sensitive insoles activate the LED’s and will blink until it detects a signal and light up all the way to show the signal strength. The prototype for Ubiq boutique was a one time deal, so they arent been expected to be in stores anytime soon, but it's a great concept.
